Trivia Facts

This game is based off of the first few episodes of the first season of the 2003 cartoon series.  Such episodes are: "Things Change," "Nano," "Darkness On The Edge Of Town," "Return To New York (Parts 1-3)" and some levels are only meant for this game.

If you defeat the game with all four turtles, you have the ability to fight Oroku Saki after battling Shredder.

When the 2003 cartoon series, Konami announced that they were developing based on the show.  This is the first time in 10 years that Konami produced a game based off a Ninja Turtles series.

The game features a cell animated art design to emulate the art style of the 2003 cartoon series.

This game featured three exclusive boss characters the Evil Turtlebot, the Giant Mouser Robot, and the Foot Gunner.  Neither of those boss enemies appeared in the first season of the 2003 cartoon series, but did get their own Playmates toy lineup. 

All 4 Ninja Turtles can use special costumes when they are unlocked. Leonardo wears a black ninja outfit. Raphael wears biker clothing and a helmet. Michelangelo wears his Turtle Titan superhero costume. Donatello wears a trench coat, fedora, and a goofy pair of glasses with a fake nose and mustache.
